One of the pioneering FCPIs in France had to liquidate its earlier funds.

The GP wanted to sell certain portfolio companies while holding on to the others, through a special purpose vehicle. RainMakers Private Equity helped the firm achieve both objectives:

• Non-strategic assets from several vintage funds where packaged together and sold off on the secondary market
• Remaining assets were put into a new investment vehicle with additional funds for follow-on investments
